Permanent coaching. Persistent progress.
Get structured coaching feedback on your technique — whether you have a coach or not. Review anytime. Connect with your coach or train on your own. Improve faster.
Many club rowers don't get enough individual coaching. Not because coaches don't care — because there isn't enough time. Krew Koach exists because that gap is real — and we heard it from 20+ clubs across North America.
Speed, rate, and splits tell you what happened. Krew Koach tells you what to do about it — in natural coaching language. Each video runs through a multi-stage analysis pipeline designed to produce reliable feedback you can actually use.
Use Krew Koach alongside your coach to reinforce and retain their feedback. Or use it independently to get clear, structured direction when you're training without one. Either way, you get coaching that's organized, specific, and always available.
A human coach might see 30 athletes in a morning. Details get lost. Krew Koach captures feedback, structures it, and saves it permanently — so nothing needs repeating, and every session builds on the last.
Krew Koach uses a purpose-built, proprietary analysis system combining structured rowing biomechanics with AI to deliver consistent, actionable feedback from your video.
Film from shore, a bridge, a boat, a drone, or a boat-mounted camera. No coach needed.
Upload your video and request analysis when you're ready. You can guide the focus — or let Krew Koach identify what matters most.
Krew Koach analyzes your stroke across catch, drive, finish, and recovery — giving you clear, structured coaching feedback on your technique.
Krew Koach provides actionable coaching feedback on what to work on, with specific drills and actionable cues.
Ask follow-up questions about technique or training. Get clear answers and next steps whenever you need them.
Zoom in, slow it down, and loop key moments. If you later work with a coach, you'll see their notes and hear their voice directly on your sessions.
Every session is saved. Revisit past work anytime and build real progress over time.
Get coaching from your coach or Krew Koach and opt in to receive reminders of what you're working on and what progress should feel like before your next session.

Your video — uploaded to Krew Koach
This Technique Review analyzes Mike's catch and early drive sequence across approximately five visible stroke cycles in the single, with the rower clearly visible side-on throughout.
Mike, the main issue is that your body opens too early off the catch, so the legs and trunk are not staying connected long enough to load the blade. Clean rhythm is visible through the recovery, but the first part of the drive needs to feel more like legs against a braced body.
Main Coaching Point
Drive SequencingOBSERVATION
Mike, there is good organization into the front end: your hands move out cleanly and you arrive at the catch with the oars set and intent to place the blades. The bigger issue is that the body starts opening almost immediately after the catch, instead of staying forward while the legs take the first part of the load. You need to hold your forward body angle as the legs press and let the handle come under a quiet chest before the swing opens.

Upload one video of your entire crew. Analyze every seat individually. Push results to each athlete's account automatically.
Many club coaches are overworked or under-supported, and many rowers get only snippets of feedback when time allows. Krew Koach gives you a way to multiply your coaching reach, making sure your messaging sticks.
"This is not a replacement for coaches. It is a tool to help coaches give better, more consistent, and permanent coaching."
— Mike Vopni, Founder
Upload a single video of your entire crew and analyze each rower's seat individually. Generate a crew synchronization observation, and push each athlete's results directly to their own account.
The Krew Koach rigging calculator builds a complete, personalized rig from your actual body, your actual power, and your actual race — not a generic chart. Enter your erg score, arm span, stroke rate, and blade type and it computes span, oar length, inboard, gate height, pitch, footstretcher, and arc angles from the physics up.
It even accounts for saltwater buoyancy and headwind — details no standard rigging chart considers. Every recommendation carries a confidence grade so you know exactly how much to trust it.
Included with every plan — delivered as a PDF export alongside your analysis report.
I came back to competitive rowing after decades away and ran straight into the same problem every club rower already knows: there aren't enough coaches, the ones who are there are stretched too thin, and most athletes fall through the cracks.
I started talking to clubs. More than 20 across North America. Coaches told me they were overwhelmed. Athletes told me they were guessing. Everyone said the same thing: the feedback isn't getting through.
Krew Koach is what I built to fix that. Not a data dashboard. Not a fitness tracker. A coaching tool — one that gives athletes structured, specific, permanent feedback on their technique, and gives coaches a way to extend their reach without losing their voice.
It's built by a rower, for rowers. And it was built after enough conversations with coaches to know that the best version of this tool is one that helps them — not replaces them.
